Airport Cars Durham was founded by Stuart Scott BA (hons) who first entered the taxi trade in 2007. After many years of experience and identifying a gap in the market the specialised airport transfer company Airport Cars Durham was formed in 2011.

The company grew steadily and a number of drivers were brought in over the following years to cope the the demand generated from Stuart's hard work. Everything was good until 2020 when the Covid 19 Crisis hit.
Like so many other businesses Airport Cars Durham has really struggled and with air travel now being the way it is the business has been forced to revert back to how it originally started with one employee, Stuart Scott.
Due to the way the business is now run you could not get a more personal service. All bookings and transfers are completed by the business owner himself, who takes great pride in the work he does.
If an emergency should come up or a situation beyond the owners control all steps will be taken to ensure customers are not let down and their transfers continue without any inconvenience or out of pocket expenses.

SERVICES PROVIDED
Airport Cars Durham specialise in providing an airport transfer service, however we will always try our best to help you out if you should need to book a standard taxi service, with at least one days notice.
​
No destination is to far away, although most of our jobs are between Durham and Newcastle Airport we have also take customers to Manchester, London and most of the Scottish Airports.
At Airport Cars we always strive to go the extra mile, so if you would like your driver to meet you at the Airport with a pint of milk, loaf of bread or a daily newspaper please just let us know.
Airport Cars Durham do not have pages and pages of terms and conditions, unlike some of our competitors.
If you book a return trip with us we will always collect you regardless of delays, lost baggage or other unforeseen circumstances!
We are proud of our policy of No hidden extras, the price your first quoted is the only price you will pay, the price will not change regardless of traffic, diversions and airport drop off / pick up charges.
All flights will be tracked on-line meaning we will know of any delays and will adjust your pick up time accordingly.
If your flight lands early we will try our best to accommodate your new arrival time, however other bookings could mean this is not always possible, and you may encounter a small wait.
